a) inscribed, dated gengxu xia (summer of 1850) and signed Shiping with one seal of the artist reading Shiping, b) inscribed and signed Xihu Xuezhou with one seal of the artist reading Xuezhou

Condition:

a) (creases, repairs), b) (foxing, stains, creases).

Provenance:

: ~acquired in China 1946-1949~~According to the Han Song Ge Tan Yi Suo Lu, Xuezhou was a monk at Hangzhou's Nanbing temple. As cited in Zhongguo Meishujia Renming Cidian Dai Jian was active in the Daoguang period, and was a native of Jining, Shandong province.
